Google is the world's biggest search engine and they're working hard for small business.

Google worked with Grow, an award-winning agency based in Norfolk, VA, to turn small business reviews into artwork. As part of the team at Grow, I played a key role in the design and development of the Small Thanks website.

In addition to launching the Small Thanks website, I worked with the team to develop multiple creative directions for launching and marketing the initiative.

Small Thanks turns user reviews into beautiful artwork that businesses can print and share.

At the heart of the product was a customization tool that let users to personalize their designs.

Along with print and social shares, the site included a unique dynamic video for every business.

This callout animation is one of my favorite examples of functional material design that delights the user.

Users on any device had the ability to instantly download, print, and share. Business owners could also receive their kits directly by mail.

Free printed toolkits were mailed to businesses during National Small Business Week along with table tents, window clings, and stickers.

It was the little details that took time but made this project so much fun to work on.

I love this copy to clipboard component created to improve the share-ability of the dynamic videos.
